For more than two decades, Reco-Brandt has specialized in botanical models and true-to-nature plant exhibits for natural history museums and private collectors. Under the direction of Sebastian Brandt, a custom-developed production method enables the creation of nature-identical resin botanical replicas precise down to microscopic level.
These museum-quality botanical models combine scientific accuracy, durable exhibition materials and strong aesthetic quality for permanent natural history displays, botanical exhibitions, and scientific collections.
For the first time endangered plants, flowers and complete habitats can be presented as permanent natural-history museum exhibits with long-term stability in shape and color. Reco-Brandt botanical exhibits create lifelike plant displays for natural history museums, habitat dioramas, scientific exhibitions, and educational installations.
The result is a new standard for botanical replicas, plant exhibits, and museum botanical displays.

Botanical Models for Natural History Museums
Our botanical models and plant replicas create new possibilities for botanical exhibitions and natural-history fauna displays. Botanical themes have long been underrepresented in museum exhibitions, especially in comparison to zoological displays. Reco-Brandt’s nature-identical botanical models make it possible to present plants as complete organisms while revealing their structures and ecological relationships in a direct and visually accessible way.
The production process is based on direct casts of real plants, preserving natural structures, surfaces, and forms down to microscopic detail. All botanical models are handcrafted in our workshop in Germany. Each plant replica is produced as a bespoke commission and developed specifically for the scientific, educational and exhibition requirements of the respective institution.
The result is a true-to-nature replica of the original plant - with exceptional durability and long-term color stability - ideally suited for permanent museum exhibitions, scientific collections and educational displays. By combining biological accuracy, refined craftsmanship, and advanced resin materials, Reco-Brandt creates museum-quality botanical exhibits that unite research, conservation, and visual communication.
